Mulled Wine

This Mulled Wine recipe is a must add to your holiday cocktail list! Warm holiday spices including cinnamon, clove and star anise. Enjoy all season long!

Instructions

  1. In a medium sized sauce pan add 3 cups of Wine ¾ cup brandy, ¾ cup Apple juice, ¼ cup orange liqueur and ¼ cup maple syrup.
  2. Brew over medium heat for 4 mins.
  3. Meanwhile, add 1 large orange cut into pieces, 1 cinnamon stick chopped into small pieces, 3 star anise and 4 whole cloves to the filter basket. Attach to the top of the Almond Cow
  4. Pour the brewed wine into the base of the machine, then attach the machine top to the base and run the Almond Cow.
  5. When the machine is done running, garnish your glasses with the remaining orange slices, cinnamon sticks, star anise, and fresh cranberries, then pour in your mulled wine and enjoy!

1 bottle red wine (approx. 3 cups)
¾ cup brandy
¾ cup apple juice
¼ cup orange liqueur
¼ cup maple syrup
1 large orange (cut into pieces), peel and pith removed
1 cinnamon stick, chopped into small pieces
3 star anise
4 whole cloves

GARNISHES
Orange slices, cinnamon sticks, star anise, fresh cranberries
