Instructions
1. In a small sauce pan, combine the oat pulp and 1 cup of the milk. Bring to a simmer and cook until soft, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool.2. In a blender combine the remaining 2 cups of milk, cooled oat pulp and remaining ingredients (except sprinkles). Process on high until smooth.
BLENDER METHOD:
3. Pour mixture into ice cube trays and transfer to the freezer overnight.
4. When ready, blend ice cubes in a high-speed blender until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as necessary. (If you do not have a high-powered blender we recommend letting the ice cream cubes sit out just until they start to slightly soften, this will help them blend better into ice cream)
5. Pour ice cream into a loaf tin (or something easy to scoop out of) and fold in sprinkles.
6. Place ice cream back in freezer to set for about 1 hour, then scoop, serve, and enjoy!
NINJA CREAMI METHOD:
3. Pour mixture into your Creami pints (you'll need 2 pint containers for this recipe) and freeze for 16 hours.
4. Attach pints to your Creami and process with the "Ice Cream" setting.
5. Remove the pint container from the Creami and add sprinkles (evenly split between both pints), then reattach to the Creami and run the "Mix-In" setting.
TRADITIONAL ICE CREAM MACHINE:
3. Assemble ice cream churn according to manufacturer's instructions, and while churning, slowly pour in the ice cream mixture.
4. After ice cream reaches a thick, soft-serve consistency slowly pour in sprinkles and continue churning until well distributed.
5. Pour ice cream into a loaf tin (or something easy to scoop out of) and allow to set i freezer for about 1 hour then scoop, serve, and enjoy!"
