Zombie Matcha Latte
This mocha-flavored latte skips the traditional pumpkin spice for a fun and spooky twist, using a delightful matcha blend and pink whipped cream.

Ingredients

  • Vegan chocolate syrup
  • 1 shot of espresso
  • 1/2 cup plant-based milk (almond, oat, or soy milk work well)
  • 1/4 cup matcha tea (prepared from matcha powder)
  • Pink whipped cream
  • Strawberry syrup
  • **PINK CREAM: 1/4 cup coconut cream, chilled
  • 2 pumps vegan vanilla syrup
  • 1 tsp beetroot powder (for natural coloring)

Directions

  1. Whisk matcha powder in hot water until frothy.
  2. In a bowl, combine chilled coconut cream, vanilla syrup, and beetroot powder. Whip until soft peaks form. Adjust the color with beetroot powder to get the desired pink shade.
  3. In a large cup, pour the chocolate syrup around the inside of the cup for a spooky effect.
  4. Add the shot of espresso and matcha tea.
  5. Fill the cup with your choice of plant-based milk.
  6. Top with a generous amount of pink whipped cream.
  7. Drizzle strawberry syrup over the whipped cream for an added 'bloody' effect.
