Almond Cow Peach Bars
A fun peachy baked dessert with the help of your Almond Cow. This treat is made with Almond pulp and a dash of almond milk but can be swapped for your favorite milk and pulp combo.
Instructions
- Begin by preparing the pan and preheating the oven. Lightly grease or spray a 13×9-inch baking pan. If using a glass baking dish, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. If using a metal pan, preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
- Next, make the crumb crust dough. Combine sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and almond pulp. Blend in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse sand. Add the lightly beaten egg and mix until the dough starts to hold together.
- Gently press a little more than half of the mixture into the prepared pan.
- Prepare the peach mixture. Whisk together sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon. Add the diced or sliced peaches and toss to combine. Pour the peaches over the crust and spread evenly.
- Using your hands, press together handfuls of the remaining dough to create clumps over top of your peaches or Scatter evenly a light coat of the remaining crust batter.
- Bake and cool. Bake for 45-55 minutes or until the crust is lightly browned. Cool completely,
- Drizzle with icing and serve. Whisk together powdered sugar, almond extract, and almond milk. Drizzle the icing over the bars and serve. Enjoy!
