How To Turn Pulp Into Flour
Instructions
1. Stand the top of the Almond Cow (with the filter basket still attached) in the collector cup to let it drain for a few minutes.2. Remove the top, and use a spoon to press the pulp and continue to remove as much liquid from the pulp as possible.
3. Once your pulp is on the drier side, transfer it to a piece of parchment paper for easy removal, and spread the pulp into a flat, even layer.
4. Place the tray in your oven at 250F for about 1-2 hours, depending on your oven, the ingredients used, and the dryness of the pulp.
5. When it’s ready, use a spatula to scrape the dried pulp off the sheet, and use your hands to crumble it. TIP: You can stop right here and just enjoy the pulp as granola!
6. Once you’ve allowed the pulp to cool completely, transfer it to a food processor or blender, and pulse or blend it until it becomes flour- or meal-like. That’s it!
