Black Sesame Milk Recipe

Black sesame offers a distinctive, nutty, and bold flavor - it’s also naturally rich in calcium, iron, and magnesium. Expand your milk horizons with this creamy and delicious Black Sesame Milk! Its smooth, slightly sweet flavor and unique color will give your recipes a fun, tasty twist.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup black sesame seeds (soaked for 20 minutes and drained)
  • 3-4 chopped, pitted dates or 1-2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 5 cups water
  • pinch of sea salt

Directions

Step 1

Place soaked black sesame seeds and dates in the filter basket. Attach the filter basket to the top of the Milk Maker and twist in the direction of the close arrow to secure.

Step 2

Fill the Milk Maker base to the MIN line (5 cups) with water. Add maple syrup (if not using dates).

Step 3

Add a pinch of sea salt to the water and attach the top.

Step 4

Plug in the Milk Maker and press the cow start button! It will run through 3 automatic stages. When the light is solid, your Black Sesame Milk is ready!
