Yes! Our engineers and milk masters have spent years testing the perfect blending cycle to optimize the creaminess and smoothness of your milk. It turns out perfection only takes 60 seconds.
Yes! Use the Almond Cow Milk Maker to make classics like oat milk and cashew milk, or become an avant-garde chef with recipes like pistachio milk, Nutella milk, or even sesame seed milk. You can use any combination of nuts, grains, or seeds to make milk. The possibilities are endless!
If you use the recommended one cup of almonds, you’ll save about 30% versus store bought milk. If you’re making oat milk, you’ll save closer to 90%. Plus, you’ll be drinking plant-based milk that is much richer in actual plants, since many store-bought milks are primarily water and additives. Most milks made in the Almond Cow also result in a leftover pulp that you can eat plain or use in baked goods and other recipes. See the breakdown here.
Use the MIN and MAX lines to make anywhere between 5-6 cups (1.2 - 1.4 liters) of milk per batch. Or if you prefer creamier milk, use the collector cup to make 2.1 cups (500 mL) of plant-based creamer per batch.
Aside from the 100s of plant-based milk and creamers that you can create, check out our recipe page for inspiration on using pulp, making baked goods, creating cocktails, wellness shots, cheeses, butter, and more!
Separation overnight in the fridge is a sign that your milk has not been highly processed, and it is perfectly normal! Store-bought plant-based milks often contain added emulsifiers and gums to keep them from separating, but just shake your homemade milk before pouring and it will be ready to enjoy.
WHAT ARE MILK MEDLEYS™? - Making milk in your Almond Cow is quick and easy, but we wanted to make it even easier. Milk Medleys™ simplify the creation of our most popular milk recipes. Simply tear the top off a Milk Medley packet, pour the entire contents into your Filter Basket, add water to the base, and press go! No measuring, no mess! Each Milk Medley comes in a home compostable sachet, carefully crafted with the ideal combination of wholesome ingredients and natural sweetness (dates!)
First time using the Milk Maker was a bit of trial and error... you should read EVERYTHING in the FAQ, the book, the how to... then it's a bit of fine tuning to get things right. The creamer did not work for me, it was very liquidy. But the milk is tasty and I am looking forward to trying other varieties and recipes. Definitely better making at home than buying storebought!

Overall good; some problems with spillage while running and cleaning
Overall, Almond Cow is a great milk maker. With this most recent purchase, however, I did experience some issues with overflow while running (even if everything was under the max lines) and then also cleaning between some of the cracks around the handle, etc., that were a bit harder to clean out well.
