Almond Cow's Back to School Poetry Slam
As the long, sunny days of summer come to an end, the inevitable swings back into gear—it’s time for the kids to get ready for a new school year. The excitement of choosing fresh supplies, meeting new teachers, and reuniting with friends adds a buzz of anticipation (or anxiety for some) to the back-to-school season.
While the curriculums seem to change every year, poetry remains a steadfast outlet of creativity for everyone from the youngest kiddos in elementary school to those in university. It’s a fun way to shake off those school scaries and easily lean back into studies.
To celebrate the season ourselves, we decided to put our team in the back-to-school spirit, and had them recreate some of their favorite poetry structures for their school-days, but with an Almond Cow twist!
Check out a few of our favorite poems below!

Haiku - by EC.
Almond Cow’s so good!
Make delicious milk real fast.
Enjoy your new batch.
Limerick - by AD.
There once was a machine you should pick,
That churned out plant milk so quick,
It made our hearts float,
And left us all feeling quite slick!
Sonnet - by JH.
In silent grace, it hums—a wondrous feat,
This marvel of our modern, healthy delight,
Where coconut, and, oats in careful dance do meet,
To yield a milk that’s pure, plant-based and light.
With just a press, almonds softly yield,
Oats blend will blend, seeds make streams,
Each drop a testament to earth’s own field,
A Wellness Elixir of your dreams.
No cow is called to give her tender share,
No pasture green is grazed for this beverage’s plight,
Instead, the power of the earth we bear,
In every glass, a future bright and right.
So here’s to you, AC of beauty and grace,
In every pour, a kinder world we trace.
And finally, the pièce de résistance...
