Cornbread

Enjoy a slice of perfectly sweet, moist, and tender Cornbread. Featuring homemade almond milk and pulp! Pair with one of our soup recipes for the ultimate meal!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup yellow corn meal
  • ⅔ cup organic granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • ½ cup almond pulp (let drain for a few minutes before using) (from almond milk)
  • ½ cup vegan butter, melted

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Mix ingredients together in a mixing bowl.
  3. Grease or line an 8x8 in. baking dish with parchment paper.
  4. Pour the batter into the baking dish
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the middle is set and edges are slightly brown.
  6. Let cool before cutting.
  7. Cut into squares and enjoy!
