Can you make this with fresh Turmeric root and Ginger root? If so, how much of each?
Hi Mindy! Yes, you can use a 1-inch piece of fresh ginger and 2-inch piece of fresh turmeric to replace the powdered ginger and turmeric.
This is delicious! Thanks for the recipe!
You’re welcome, Jessica! We’re so happy to know you enjoyed it, thanks for sharing!
Wondering how long will this last in the refrigerator and not lose health benefits? Also, can it be heated? Thank you!
Love this! I added some sunflower lecithin, pea powder and walnut oil to thicken and boost the anti-inflammatories. Delicious!
Why do the general instructions recommend soaking the cashews but the almond cow version says unsoaked? Can I use soaked?
Hi Katie! Soaking the cashews is completely optional but can help make a creamier milk. Please be sure to measure the cashews after soaking, as they tend to expand, to prevent overfilling the filter basket. Cheers!
