Instructions

Bring a heavy-bottomed saucepan with lid to medium high heat, then add coconut oil. When melted, add the popcorn and cover immediately. Allow to pop for about 30-60 seconds or until the popping slows to several seconds between pops, then remove the pan from the heat. Transfer the popcorn immediately into a wide bowl. Add remaining ingredients and carefully fold and toss until evenly combined. Season to taste. Enjoy!

    1. Hi Shannon, the almond flour helps to dilute and distribute the blue algae powder when tossing to combine. Blue algae powder on its own is incredibly fine AND pigmented so adding the flour helps with this. You’re free to substitute the almond flour with any other type of flour but there may be varying results. I hope this helps!
