Yes! Use the Almond Cow Milk Maker to make classics like oat milk and cashew milk, or become an avant-garde chef with recipes like pistachio milk, Nutella milk, or even sesame seed milk. You can use any combination of nuts, grains, or seeds to make milk. The possibilities are endless!

If you use the recommended one cup of almonds, you’ll save about 30% versus store bought milk. If you’re making oat milk, you’ll save closer to 90%. Plus, you’ll be drinking plant-based milk that is much richer in actual plants, since many store-bought milks are primarily water and additives. Most milks made in the Almond Cow also result in a leftover pulp that you can eat plain or use in baked goods and other recipes. See the breakdown here.

Use the MIN and MAX lines to make anywhere between 5-6 cups (1.2 - 1.4 liters) of milk per batch. Or if you prefer creamier milk, use the collector cup to make 2.1 cups (500 mL) of plant-based creamer per batch.

Separation overnight in the fridge is a sign that your milk has not been highly processed, and it is perfectly normal! Store-bought plant-based milks often contain added emulsifiers and gums to keep them from separating, but just shake your homemade milk before pouring and it will be ready to enjoy.

Broke down and can't repair it

I've had my Almond Cow for about 4 years now and will say I really liked it! I make the same milk every other week (almond/cashew mix). I don't use it every day so I'm really surprised that the motor started making a loud banging sound during use. I work in the construction industry and know a lot of handy guys who can fix anything. I asked a friend to take it apart to see if it could be fixed and he showed me what was wrong with it. It is fixable but Almond Cow does not sell parts nor is it something he could find at the hardware store.

If this was a toaster or coffee maker or some other appliance that I use EVERY DAY, then I could understand and even expect it to breakdown due to constant use, but like I said I use it every other week, or even once a month.

I'm debating if I want to buy another one or research other brands that have now come out on the market.

Where has this been for the last 20 years of my life?!!?

I’ve been making nut milks the old-fashioned way, and my hands would hurt so much from all the squeezing through that mesh bag. So occasionally, I’d buy a carton instead of making it, or I’d do without. Then I bought a carton of cashew- coconut milk. WOW, was that good, so I Googled for a recipe and it landed me on Almond Cow’s YouTube video. I had no idea anything like that existed! Of course I ordered it within 5 minutes and have been thrilled with the machine ever since.

After the fact, I saw that there were several other brands to choose from, but looking them over and reading all about them, I was so happy I saw Almond Milk first, because I truly believe this is the best of all nut milk machines.

Wonderful!

It’s very easy and fast to make milk. I’m usually in a rush and it doesn’t take much time to prepare it and you always have fresh milk. Also less cardboard or plastic to throw away compared to buying milk.

Cleaning it is also very easy so it’s wonderful for that too.
