Mulled Wine recipe with holiday spices, prepared using Almond Cow machine

Mulled Wine

Less than 15 minutes

This Mulled Wine recipe is a must add to your holiday cocktail list! Warm holiday spices including cinnamon, clove and star anise. Enjoy all season long!

Servings: 5


  • 1 bottle red wine (approx. 3 cups)
  • ¾ cup brandy
  • ¾ cup apple juice
  • ¼ cup orange liqueur
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 1 large orange (cut into pieces), peel and pith removed
  • 1 cinnamon stick, chopped into small pieces
  • 3 star anise
  • 4 whole cloves
  • Garnishes: Orange slices, cinnamon sticks, star anise, fresh cranberries


Step 1

Add wine, brandy, apple juice, orange liqueur, and maple syrup to a saucepan, and bring just to a simmer. Pour into the base of your Almond Cow.

Step 2

To the filter basket, add orange pieces, cinnamon sticks, star anise, and cloves.

Step 3

Attach the filter basket to the top, and the top to the base.

Step 4

Press the cow, and when the light stops flashing, your Mulled Wine is ready!

Step 5

Garnish with orange slices, star anise, and fresh cranberries.
