Homemade Tiger Nut Milk made with Almond Cow's milk machine

Tiger Nut Milk

Tiger what?! You heard us! Tiger nuts, if you haven't already heard, have been cultivated for centuries and are now making a comeback. They're known for their high resistant starch fiber content and prebiotic components. Not to mention, tiger nuts are a great source of plant protein, and have a naturally sweet flavor, making it the perfect base for your next milk recipe!

Servings: 5 cups


  • 1 cup tiger nuts (soaked for 1-2 days in the fridge)
  • 1-2 chopped, pitted dates or 1-2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of sea salt


Step 1

Place soaked tiger nuts and dates in the filter basket. Attach the filter basket to the top of the Milk Maker and twist in the direction of the close arrow to secure.

Step 2

Fill the Milk Maker base to the MIN line (5 cups) with water, add maple syrup if not using dates, vanilla, and sea salt to the water. Attach the top.

Step 3

Plug in the Milk Maker and press the cow start button. It will run through 3 automatic stages. When the green light stops flashing, your tiger nut milk is ready!
