Bourbon Peach Smash

This late summer cocktail is perfect for Labor Day weekend or even an early fall day. Made with fresh peaches and mint, it’s a great way to use up the last of those farmer’s market finds.

Bourbon Peach Smash made in the Almond Cow


  • 100 mL bourbon
  • 400 mL ginger beer
  • 1 cup chopped and peeled peaches
  • 1 lemon, peel and pith removed
  • 8 fresh mint leaves
  • 1-2 tbsp honey (or sugar)


  1. Add the bourbon and ginger beer to the collector cup. Place collector cup inside the Almond Cow base.
  2. Add peaches, lemon, honey or sugar, and fresh mint leaves to the filter basket. Attach the filter basket to the top of the Almond Cow and twist in the direction of the close arrow to secure.
  3. Secure Almond Cow top to the base. Plug in the Almond Cow and press the cow start button. It will run through 3 automatic stages. When the green light stops flashing, your beverage is ready!
  4. Fill two glasses with ice and divide the contents of the collector cup between two glasses. Garnish with fresh peach slices and a sprig of mint.
