What To Do With Leftover Almond Pulp

The pulp from your Almond Cow makes for amazing composting material, but if you have the time it can be much more than that! We recommend turning it into almond granola. Here's our favorite way to transform it into a delicious breakfast treat.

Instructions

Step 1

Spray the baking tray with oil or use parchment paper. This is optional but will allow for easier removal.

Step 2

Add the pulp to the greased baking tray.

Step 3

Spread the pulp in an even layer with a spatula.

Step 4

Place the tray in an oven at 175F for 3-4 hours. Depending on your oven settings, you may want to leave the oven door cracked.

Use the spatula to scrape the granola off the tray and store in an airtight container or jar.

Use anywhere you would normal granola! We recommend adding to a base of unsweetened greek yogurt, maple syrup.
