The quintessential guide to making almond milk using your Almond Cow. All natural, delicious almond milk in a snap, made right in the comfort of your own home.
- 1 cup Unsoaked almonds (if using soaked almonds, you
only need to use about ½ cup soaked in water for at least 4 hours or overnight)
- ¼ tsp Salt (optional)
- 1 tsp Vanilla (optional)
- Maple syrup or 5 pitted dates (optional)
Soak the almonds. This step is optional but recommended for a smoother almond milk texture. Place the almonds in the designated Almond Cow filter basket. If using dates you would add them to the filter basket now, up to the one cup line. Attach the container to the blade head and twist to close. Fill the Almond Cow base with water up to the MIN or MAX fill line (5-6 cups). Add your desired sweetener, salt, and flavorings like vanilla. Plug in the Almond Cow and press the cow start button! It will run through 3 automatic stages. When the green light stops flashing, your milk is ready! Remove the top half of the Almond Cow and set aside. Pour the milk into a container and enjoy!
